Unganji district of Otawara city, Tochigi prefecture, at the foot of Mt. Yamizo was once famous for tea cultivation. However, it was difficult for farmers to keep tea cultivation due to aging.
Six years ago, Yamizo-azumappe committee started to reproduce tea. And now they rediscover tea leaf cultivation.

Temperature difference of this area makes unique quality of tea with pleasant aroma and a bit bitter taste.
Come and enjoy the refreshing temperature and the thrill of strolling among rows of tea leaf nearby forests.
Enjoy picking tea yourself and making black tea together!
